Should I install an aftermarket radio in my car?
Aftermarket head units will help you sell the car as long as its not a cheap looking one. They are usually easy to replace as long as you get the wire harness adapter kits that are available just about anywhere. They make it so pretty much anyone can do the wiring. Just plug one end into your car's factory connector and the other you will hook same color to same color at the aftermarket radio. Crimp connectors are the ideal thing to use but wire nuts also work. If you want to keep your stock radio, FM modulators may be a very simply remedy but usually have extremely poor function and sound quality. The only type that is half way decent is the in line type that actually connects to your antenna and even those can be troublesome at times.
