What does hummus taste like? Does it taste better than garbanzo beans?

I don't like chickpeas so I've never tried hummus, but I know it also contains olive oil, sesame paste, lemon, and garlic. I was wondering if there was enough of the other ingredients to make it taste lest like garbanzo beans, which I don't like.
