1st Birthday party at restaurant, who pays?

You are hosting the party and inviting people to come and join you in your son's first birthday. They will be coming with gifts and you want them to pay for their food ! No the host and hostess pay for the food. You are asking them to come and it is your responsibility to feed them.It need not be expensive food maybe just sandwiches and a big salad.
